Free Tuition for Lady Golfers at Shannon GC on International Women’s Golf Day

Women’s Golf Day is a four-hour experience happening globally where women and girls can experience golf for the first time or where current players can play and engage with women interested in golf. It is being hosted at golf courses and retail locations all around the world on the same day June 6, 2017 world-wide.

Shannon Golf Club is one of those locations and will host a mix of activities throughout the day tomorrow (Tuesday, 6 June); it is a first such undertaking for Shannon.

Club professional Arty Pyke will give free tuition to ladies between 4pm and 6pm followed by a reception and social gathering to continue the discussion on golf.

An open day will run throughout the day where ladies can choose to play 18 or 9 holes separately or simultaneously.  All tee bookings should be made via the pro shop at Shannon Golf Club with slots allocated between 4pm and 6pm for those specifically wishing to play the 9-hole competition only

President Bridget McCaul and Lady Captain Helen O’Donnell look forward to welcoming this gathering of lady golfers to Shannon on International Women’s Golf Day and would request that anyone interested in attending registers their participation in the day on Eventbrite.ie to ensure that those participating in Shannon will be included in the total count of women participating world-wide.
