Minister Donohoe’s upcoming budget will be published on 13 October 2020.

Notwithstanding the impact of COVID-19 on the public finances, tax hikes are not expected. However, it is less certain whether any existing reliefs may be curtailed or indeed whether there be a reduction in certain taxes to further stimulate the economy.
