Description

A key action from the Government’s Climate Action Plan 2024 to reduce carbon emissions in industry includes:

Expanding and enhancing supports from the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, IDA Ireland, and Enterprise Ireland with a focus on achieving energy demand reduction, electrification, and biomass adoption in industry.

With business now encouraged to invest in sustainable products, services and business models to help Ireland reach its target to reduce carbon emissions (greenhouse gas emissions) by 51% by 2030, and to achieve a climate neutral economy by 2050, Shannon Chamber wants to play its part in facilitating this transformation.

This event has been organised to ensure that members are aware of the types and levels of supports available from State Agencies to support companies in their decarbonisation journeys.

Whatever your current sustainability state, be it drafting a sustainability plan, assessing your supply chain or researching a new product, take it to the next level by checking out the supports available from:

  • IDA
  • Enterprise Ireland
  • Local Enterprise Office (LEO)
  • Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI)
  • Skillnet Ireland
  • Environmental Protection Agency

Sustainability is more than compliance or environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting; it will reshape your competitive advantage.

The time to start devising your strategy is NOW… by attending this event.
