Employers Disability Information Service

The Employers Disability Information (EDI) Service was launched in January 2016 to provide a national resource for advice and information for employers on the employment of people with disabilities.

The scheme Employers Disability Information Service provides employers with an expert peer source of advice and information on employing staff with disabilities. The Service aims to help enhance the confidence and competence of individual employers to employ, manage and retain staff with disabilities. The ultimate aim is to promote increased employment of people with disabilities.

The EDI website has lots of usual information for employers on supports and funding available for hiring someone with a disability, advice on employers’ rights and responsibilities and information about many aspects of recruitment and retention of people with disabilities.
