Initiating and influencing change that positively adjusts the conditions for business and the environment in which our members operate is a priority function of Shannon Chamber.

We continually monitor the economic landscape and assess where our input on behalf of members can influence or make a difference.  We seek, where possible and relevant, to make direct submissions to Government – to be our members’ spokesperson inputting to national debate or policy.

We continually lobby our local and regional elected representatives, and Government, to seek resolution on issues directly impacting our members.

In other instances, and where relevant, we present our members’ input to Chambers Ireland for inclusion in their submissions to Government. Sometimes, the voice of the national organisation is more powerful than a voice at local/regional level.
