The advent of quality ancillary facilities like the new Starbucks drive-thru coffee shop at Shannon Free Zone – the first by the chain in Ireland – enhances the attractiveness of the Shannon Region as an investment location, Helen Downes, Shannon Chamber CEO stressed.

Welcoming the opening of Starbucks at a unit provided by Shannon Commercial Properties adjacent to Shannon Chamber’s offices in Shannon Airport House, the CEO said it provides an additional social and networking outlet within the Free Zone.

“It’s important for companies to have attractive ancillary amenities for their workforces nearby. This new facility, employing 15 people, adds significantly to the appeal of the industrial zone,” Ms Downes said.
