Shannon Chamber was saddened to hear of the recent death of Richard Malkin, distinguished air cargo journalist and former managing editor of Air Transportation, who played a crucial role in spreading the news about Shannon in its early days.

The “father of Shannon”, as he was known, died at the great age of 104 years.
