The 2017 Irish Tourism Industry Awards, which celebrate all that is excellent and innovative within Irish tourism, will take place on Friday, February 3rd in the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Dublin.
The Awards, which are organised biannually by the Irish Tourist Industry Confederation (ITIC), Fáilte Ireland, Tourism Ireland and industry sponsors.
Nominations for the Awards can be submitted easily and free of charge on www.irishtourismindustryawards.ie.
In total there are 14 categories. Entries need only be 1,600 words and are done electronically on www.irishtourismindustryawards.ie/categories/. Closing date for entries is November 25th.

Shannon Chamber would encourage tourism businesses and event organisers in the Shannon region to enter these Awards and showcas the many wonderful initiatives underway on the West coast of Ireland.
Suitable categories might include: Best Leisure Tourism Innovation, Best Cultural Experience, Best Festival/Event Experience, Best Environmental Tourism Innovation, and Best Adventure Experience.
