Mid-West Regional Skills invites Employers throughout the Mid-West region to attend a free-of-charge briefing on the Government-funded Spribgboard+ programme.
The event will take place on Monday 29th January in the Bank of Ireland Workbench, O’Connell Street, Limerick from 6-8pm.
Springboard+ is a Government funded programme of free and subsidised higher education courses at Level 6 or higher on the National Qualifications Framework. In the Mid-West region both University of Limerick and Limerick Institute of Technology provide a range of Springboard courses.
The qualifying criteria for eligibility onto Springboard programmes has changed for 2018 and this employer briefing event is an opportunity for both UL and LIT to listen to the views and suggestions of employers re new courses to meet emerging skill needs for their employees.
Springboard offers an ideal opportunity for employers to identify employees suitable for inclusion on particular courses that are provided at higher education level. All level 6 courses are free while courses at Level 7 or higher attract a 10% fee payable by employer or employee.
