Shannon Chamber is delighted to share some great news from one of our member companies – Jaquar Land Rover (JLR). This news will be of interest to parents of students over 14 years of age, and to the students themselves.

JLR has launched a new STEM programme – JLR: Drive Your Future – which offers virtual work experience to students throughout Ireland who are over 14 years of age. The programme is being delivered in partnership with Spring Pod and is available on demand, free of charge!! Students receive a certificate upon completion, which is useful for university and apprenticeship applications.

The initiative is designed to scale up insights and deliver an inclusive offering for work experience, allowing JLR to reach a wider audience geographically and demographically. It will not only enhance JLR’s ability to connect with a diverse range of students, but it will also inspire the next generation of talent to consider a career in STEM!

Shannon Chamber CEO Helen Downes believes this is an amazing, not-to-be-missed opportunity to explore the world of STEM in an engaging and flexible way.
