HR Challenges Facing Companies in 2018 on Shannon Chamber Seminar Agenda

The findings of a survey, undertaken by Empathy Research on behalf of Adare Human Resource Management to assess the types of human resource issues facing companies in 2018, will be unveiled at a forthcoming Shannon Chamber seminar which takes place on Wednesday, 18 October in the Oakwood Hotel in Shannon, commencing at 8am.

Over 250 Irish-owned and multinational organisations in Ireland representing a total of 50,139 employees partook in this ‘HR Barometer’ national survey, which focused on key areas within the human resources realm such as: average absenteeism rates; levels of employee turnover; average number of training days per employee per year; ratios of HR staff to employees; the main causes of employee disputes amongst Irish businesses and, the top three biggest likely challenges to HR in 2018.

Key senior consultants from Adare Human Resource Management will be on hand to share the findings of the survey and give their insights into what this means for HR practitioners in 2018.

As Shannon Chamber chief executive Helen Downes says: “This ‘HR Barometer’ breakfast briefing is a must-attend event for HR practitioners and business owners/managers who are seeking to inform and empower their HR planning in 2018.”
