Entries for the inaugural Mid-West Lean Network Continuous Improvement Awards are closing and Shannon Chamber encourages member companies who are contemplating submitting an entry to do so on or before Friday, 14 September.
The Mid-West Lean Network Continuous Improvement Awards 2018, sponsored by LBS Partners, have been introduced to recognise the progress being made by companies in the Mid-West to embed Lean processes into their businesses and to encourage more companies to see the value and payback from becoming lean.
The Awards are aimed at companies who are starting their lean journey. Companies who have well-established lean practices and projects will not be eligible for consideration in this inaugural year. Clarification as to suitability of project being considered for entry can be sought from Shannon Chamber / judging panel prior to entry.
“Ninety companies in the Mid-West are now members of this growing network. This new award has been initiated to recognise the commitment companies in this area are making to continuous improvement. We have some very interesting entries to date and this last call is to any company who has been considering entering but simply has not yet submitted their application. The judging process will commence in mid-September and the winner will be announced at the Mid-West Lean Network annual conference, which takes place in the Analog Devices building at the University of Limerick on Wednesday, 7 November.”
