Chambers Annual Networking Event a Resounding Success

Chambers’ Annual Networking Event a Resounding Success

The annual Chamber business networking event, which this year was held at the Radisson Blu hotel on the Ennis Road in Limerick demonstrated the value of engaging the members of all three chambers in a singular setting.

Organised by the Chambers of Ennis, Limerick and Shannon in association with Limerick Chamber Skillnet, Magnet Business, Shannon Airport and Top Part to encourage members of all Chambers, and non-members, to present their respective products and services to each other, the evening was high-energy with over 180 business people busily exchanging information and business cards.

Facilitated by the always effervescent James Sexton of HiYa Event Management, who has a unique way of making people interact, the large function room in the hotel was fast transformed into a trading floor of business interaction.

Feedback from attendees pointed to a great night’s networking experience. As one attendee stated: “I totally enjoyed the night and made a few contacts. What I took from the night was the feeling of enjoyment and connection. I felt the networking games were a real ice breaker and the event was light and enjoyable. Already two calls today and connections made. “

Chamber CEOs Alex Fleming (Ennis), Dr James Ring (Limerick) and Helen Downes (Shannon) are already planning ahead for a bigger and better Chamber regional networking event in 2016.
