VITALOGRAPH’S INVESTMENT IN THE MID-WEST AN ENDORSEMENT OF REGION’ S POTENTIAL…SHANNON CHAMBER

Shannon Chamber has welcomed the news that one of its member companies, Vitalograph, is to strengthen its presence in the Mid-West region through committing to a €10 million investment and the creation of an additional 200 jobs.

Shannon Chamber CEO Helen Downes said: “Vitalograph has a track record of over 40 years operating in Co Clare and the news that it is to expand operations to Limerick, enhance operations at its current site in Ennis whilst also establishing a new site at Clare Technology Park, is testament to the value it places on the potential of the Mid-West to deliver on its corporate objectives.

“With the growing focus on sustainability and achieving net zero, the changes that Vitalograph is making to its consumables’ manufacturing through reshoring that element of its business from Asia to Co Clare is highly commendable. The management of supply chain is a key topic for discussion in many companies in the region and this decision is therefore exemplary.

“We look forward to working with the management team at Vitalograph as they chart this new phase of the company’s growth.”
