Trump International Golf Links has appointed Evan Butler as Director of Sales and Marketing.

He joins Doonbeg from Mount Falcon Estate where he was Head of Sales and Marketing for the past three years. He made a valued contribution in leading and strengthening team performance to improve revenue streams, sales, marketing and operational performance. He leaves behind accolades and awards (current Manor House Hotel of the Year), fond memories of the team and the estate. He takes with him a great network of industry professionals and clients. One memorable highlight of this summer was securing and overseeing the private aspect of the visit to Ireland by US Vice-President Joe Biden which involved over 1,000 bed nights and more stakeholders than you would believe.

With over 20 years’ experience in hospitality, Evan’s approach is customer focused and results oriented. He believes business goals are achieved through cultivating relationships, collaborating with partners, motivating, developing and supporting others to succeed.

A graduate of College of Catering DIT and Trinity College Dublin (B.Sc) with professional Strategic Marketing and Leadership accreditation from Cornell University, NY. Before returning to the hotel sector, he owned a pub in Galway with a live music offering, a neighbouring wine shop and tourist hostel.
