Travel enthusiasts & holidaymakers to descend on Limerick this weekend for the Holiday Show

Cruises to caravans, hotels to hostels, flights to ferries, and everything in between – there’s no break option that can’t be explored or booked at the Holiday Show at the UL Arena this weekend, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of February.

Tuesday 14 February 2017:  Held in association with Shannon Airport, The Holiday Show is the biggest of its kind outside of the capital and set to welcome over 80 worldwide travel suppliers to Limerick this weekend.

Thousands of visitors will flock to the free event to make the most of the biggest opportunity of the year in the region to get bargain breaks in the sun, luxury cruise holidays, bespoke honeymoons, long-haul flight deals and much more.  A number of attractive holiday prizes will also be up for grabs.

Whether hunting for low-priced flights or route advice, punters will have representatives from airlines such as Turkish Airlines, United Airlines, Aer Lingus, Air France and more on hand to give all the advice they need.

With the package holiday more than standing the test of time, the Holiday Show will deliver an opportunity for bargains in this very popular sector also, with a number of agents and operators on hand, including American Holidays, Sunway, ClickandGo.com, Tropical Sky, Dawson Travel and Limerick Travel.

The Holiday Show will also provide for those looking for family holidays that take in theme parks and resorts, with the likes of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Trabolgan Holiday Village, Aquatica, Discovery Cove Orlando and Attraction Tickets Direct present also with advice and tips for travellers.

Edmund Hourican, Managing Director Bizex, organisers of the Holiday Show said, “We have a great event lined up and the timing is excellent as it’s going to be a bumper year for holidays, the biggest in over a decade.”

Shannon Airport’s Head of Aviation Development Declan Power said: “It’s going to be a big year for holidays and the Holiday Show is going to be bigger as a result this year. Every question people have, from honeymoons to adventure holidays, will be answered at it and there are plenty of prizes also.”

The Holiday Show, will be open from 12pm to 5.30pm on the 18th and 19th February and entry is free.  Car parking is also free and there’s children’s’ entertainment on hand as well.
