A temporary road closure is required to facilitate the Shannon Group Charity 5K event. Staff should also be aware there may be increased traffic and numbers of pedestrians during this time.
Closure: Part of Airport Avenue, from Block F to Block O, in both directions. Through access in the estate will not be possible while this road is closed.
Date and Time: Thursday 05 September 2019 between 18:00 and 20:30.
Alternative Routes:
- Entering
Turn right at main entrance for Westpark, Molex, CHC, Blocks K – P.
Turn left at main entrance for Blocks R- U.
Airport Entrance – Block A – F, Universal House, Aviation House, Jaguar Landrover.
- Exiting
Avoid Airport Avenue, using junction at Block P/Shannon Business Centre and Main Entrance.
Blocks R-U should use main entrance.
Block A – F, Universal House, Aviation House, Jaguar Land Rover should use Airport Entrance.
Bus Eireann:
Note that the 343 route will not serve the Shannon Industrial Estate stops for the duration of the event. Customers should instead use Drumgeely Road or Shannon Airport stops.
