Shannon Chamber is pleased to announce that, commencing Friday, 10 March 2016, it will deliver a Diploma in Leadership programme through its Skillnet, which will lead to a Level 7 National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).
The programme will be delivered over four months by leading talent and leadership development firm Career Decisions Ireland in association with Dublin Institute of Technology to a maximum 12 people. Highly experienced and qualified coaches with a proven track record of working at a senior level and, with a wealth of professional expertise in leadership assessment and development as well as real-world business experience, will deliver the modules.
Launching the programme, Shannon Chamber’s chief executive Helen Downes said: “Feedback from members in a training needs analysis we undertook last year pointed to a requirement for high-calibre leadership skills training. We have selected this Diploma in Leadership programme, as it is results-driven and has been designed to enable participants enhance their leadership capabilities and develop highly effective coaching skills to lead and motivate their team to maximise performance and results.
“The comprehensive programme will offer a transformative learning experience and create the critical link between learning and practice. With a focus on results, the content will be highly practical and reflect the day-to-day challenges that people encounter and have to manage.
“With spaces limited to 12, we would encourage managers from a diversity of organisations to consider joining the programme as it presents the ideal space to share insights, gets expert guidance on best-in-class methodologies and proven best practice. Tailored one-to-one support on implementing the action plans developed during the programme will be given to each participant to enable them achieve their goals and the end-of-programme Level 7 internationally recognised qualification, accredited by Dublin Institute of Technology.
