Shannon Chamber encourages member companies to enter Lean Ireland Business Awards

Since setting up the Mid-West Lean Network in 2016, Shannon Chamber has witnessed a substantial increase in the deployment of lean principles in organisations throughout the Mid-West region. The network’s calendar of lean-focused workshops is heavily subscribed to and its annual conference, which will return this year after an absence of two years due to COVID, is already garnering interest.

It is against this background that the Chamber is encouraging its member companies to submit entries to the Lean Business Ireland Awards to project the great strides that companies are making in their pursuit of operational excellence.

The closing date for entries is August 18th and the awards take place in Croke Park on Sept 29th.

Primarily designed to recognise and celebrate enterprise excellence achievements in Ireland, the award’s ceremony will also be an opportunity to engage and network with other Continuous Improvement Teams.

Whether a large, medium or small organisation, working in any industry sector or government department; the  Lean Business Ireland Awards are open to organisations that  can demonstrate excellence in their strive towards a competitive operation and deserve recognition at a national level for that journey.

Award Categories for 2022 include:

Shortlisted entrants will have their national profiles listed just by making the final, while winners will receive coverage in the national media. In addition, the team or individual get to return to their organisation recognised as winners and sharing their journey with others. There will be a beautifully exclusively designed trophy, which will find pride of place in any Reception/Board Room for the winning entries.

There is no charge to enter the Lean Business Ireland Awards ceremony, the deadline for entries will be the 18th August 2022
