Shannon Business Community to receive Ireland’s Latest Human Resource Insights and Findings

Shannon Chamber, in association with Adare Human Resource Management, will share the findings and insights from Adare Human Resource Management’s 2018 HR Barometer with businesses in Shannon and the wider Mi-West region. The event, which takes place at Treacy’s Oakwood Hotel in Shannon on Thursday, 27 September (8am – 10am with registration at 7:45am) will equip attendees with the latest and most invaluable Irish insight and guidance for HR planning and trends for the coming year.

Launching the event, Shannon Chamber’s CEO Helen Downes said: “This is a must-attend event for those with an interest in HR, employment law, conflict resolution and industrial relations as the 2018 HR Barometer comprises research from more than 260 Irish organisations across a broad range of industries.”

Adare Human Resource Management’s Managing Director, Derek McKay said: “We are delighted to be working with Shannon Chamber  to bring the findings of our second annual HR Barometer to the Shannon region. With a continuous upturn in the jobs market, it is really important for employers and management to be equipped and familiar with HR trends and priorities.

“Best HR practice ensures better employee retention and engagement, not to mention avoiding what can be costly and time-consuming situations if HR and employment law compliance is not adhered to. The HR Barometer breakfast briefing guarantees key takeaways and guidance for all who join us in Shannon.”
