New Head Chef at Gallagher’s of Bunratty

Gallagher’s and JP Clarke’s of Bunratty are pleased to welcome Kieran Murphy, formally of Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort, to our team as head chef. Kieran joins the team at Gallagher’s/JP Clarke’s with 20 years of experience in both five star and Michelin star restaurants, working at renowned establishments including Richard Corrigan’s Michelin Star restaurant Lindsey House, London, the Michelin Star restaurant High Holborn, London and the five star Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort, Limerick.

Kieran’s culinary achievements include the Restaurant Association of Ireland’s ‘Best Hotel Restaurant’ award for ‘The Oakroom’ at Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort in 2012 and 2015. Kieran has also catered for a number of high profile events, including the Irish Open and JP McManus Pro AM.

Commenting on his new appointment, Kieran said ‘I look forward to working with our great local suppliers to create innovative and exciting dishes for Gallagher’s and JP Clarke’s. I am passionate about fresh, seasonal food and I believe Ireland has the best produce in the world in terms of quality and flavour. This is an exciting time for me and I’m looking forward to showcasing Irish food at its finest.’
