Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Paschal Donohoe T.D., will today (Thursday 20th August) launch a new policy for the Irish aviation sector. This policy is the culmination of an extensive consultation process which has been very constructive in the development of the policy.

The aviation sector contributes significantly to the Irish economy, contributing over €4bn directly to Ireland’s GDP and directly supporting 26,000 jobs with a further 16,000 jobs indirectly.
