As Europe responds to the challenges of Brexit, COVID, and the war in Ukraine, specific fast-growing industries represent an excellent opportunity for Irish companies to break into European markets or to deepen and scale their presence in these markets.

To highlight the benefits of the single market and deliver insights on four high-growth sectors (Life Sciences, Consumer Retail, Industrial & Digital Technologies) that present opportunity for Irish companies in Europe, Enterprise Ireland in association with the IIEA is hosting an event in the University of Limerick on Monday, 18 July from 11.00am to 2.15pm.

The event, which is the second in the 2022 Europe is our Future Series co-organised by the IIEA and Enterprise Ireland, will open with a keynote address from Mairead McGuinness, European Commissioner for Financial Services, Financial Stability, and the Capital Markets Union. Following the keynote address, Enterprise Ireland Market Advisers from across Europe will lead sector-specific panel sessions aimed at helping participants understand which European markets are most appropriate for their products and services and how best to break into and grow in these markets. The event will end with a networking lunch which will also feature a guest speaker.
