EQuita Consulting will deliver two high level, fully customised 90-minute masterclass sessions to members of Shannon Chamber. These masterclasses will provide participants with key learnings and application of the topics outlined by Shannon Chamber as of interest to their members needs, carefully designed by EQuita. The aim and purpose of these two masterclasses is for participants to gain greater knowledge on a mastering blended working strategy for leaders and managers and in the second masterclass, we will explore how organisation culture, cultural change and cultural intelligence can be mastered by todays leaders.

Mastering Blended Working Strategy

This masterclass will focus on managing blended/hybrid teams, peer support and networking, removing bias around remote working and improving communications in blended teams. Aligning with Shannon Chamber service to members, this masterclass will enable leaders and managers to upskill to successfully manage complexity in blended/hybrid teams, determining continual suitability based on business needs and then optimizing both the work and each individual in the team. Managing a blended/hybrid team can feel much different than working with a team that is consistently present together.

Peer support and networking are essential for employees to have while working in the office and remotely. 2022 Research shows that while the formal organisation survived during covid related hybrid working, the social orgnaisation did not. Connectedness and engagement are crucial. Participants will also learn about
unconscious bias and and how to become aware of it and minimize its effect and assess and improve effectiveness in decision making and management practice in todays’ world of work. Lastly, tips on how to improve communications in blended teams will be explored. Intention and impact are entirely different and the volume of difficulties that arise over miscommunication are vast. Misinterpreting messages/communications can be even greater when communication occurs via email and text etc. rather
than face to face communication
