Audrey Browne Promoted To Senior Associate At Holmes

Holmes, one of Ireland’s largest law firms specialising in corporate, insurance, commercial property and public sector clients, is pleased to announce the promotion of Audrey Browne to Senior Associate Solicitor specialising in insurance litigation.

Audrey joined Holmes in 2017 as Associate, bringing with her extensive experience in all areas of civil and criminal litigation including plaintiff and defence litigation. Prior to Holmes, she spent 16 years working with firms in Limerick, Cork and Mayo. Based in Holmes’ Limerick office, Audrey handles defence litigation on behalf of domestic and international insurers and self-insured corporations. Her work includes the areas of employer, motor, public and product liability.

Audrey provides pre-litigation advice on initial investigations, liability, quantum and tactics, advising insurers and self-insured companies in the defence of personal injury actions in the Circuit Court, High Court and Court of Appeal. She is an expert at negotiating with a view to avoiding litigation where at all possible, up to negotiation of costs on conclusion of litigation. In addition to insurance defence work, Audrey also represents private clients in the defence of road traffic offences and criminal matters in the District Court.
