Shannon Chamber Invites Member Companies to Explore Creative Wellbeing Workshops from Local Artists
Support Employee Wellbeing, Creativity and Team Engagement through the Shannon Artists Network
Shannon Chamber is pleased to share a unique opportunity for member companies to connect with talented local artists through a series of creative workshops and wellbeing experiences developed by the Shannon Artists Network and supported by Creative Places Shannon
A Wide Range of Creative Experiences
The workshop catalogue includes a variety of hands-on and accessible activities suitable for all experience levels, including:
• Ceramics and clay workshops
• Painting and printmaking
• Creative writing and songwriting
• Visual notetaking and sketch noting
• Collaborative art projects and mural creation
• Watercolour and wellness experiences
• Pottery and team-building activities
• Crochet and needle-felting workshops
• Botanical art, flower preservation, and candle decoration sessions
Each workshop is delivered by a local creative practitioner and includes practical information on group sizes, duration, venue requirements and costs, making it easy for businesses to identify options that best suit their workforce and objectives.
As organisations continue to focus on employee wellbeing, engagement and workplace culture, creative activities can provide valuable opportunities for teams to connect, learn new skills and take time away from their day-to-day responsibilities in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. The workshops are suitable for wellbeing programmes, team-building initiatives, staff appreciation events and workplace learning opportunities.
The programme also provides businesses with an opportunity to support Shannon’s vibrant creative community by working directly with local artists and makers. Through this collaboration, companies can contribute to the growth of the local creative economy while providing meaningful experiences for their employees.
Companies interested in exploring the available workshops or discussing potential opportunities are encouraged to contact the Artists directly to book themselves onto a workshop (information within packages).
