Winners Alright… A quartet of winners at Shannon Chamber Golf Classic presentation

While 54 teams and 216 golfers took to the fairways for Shannon Chamber’s Golf Classic held on 19 June, top honours could only go to one team and that was, Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon.

The winning team at the Shannon Chamber Golf Classic, Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon, comprising Gavin O’Donnell, Daryn Callinan, Colin Sammon and Kenneth Buckley (missing from photo) were presented with their prizes at a special ceremony in Shannon Golf Club last week. The runners up at the Shannon Chamber Golf Classic, Crowe’s Costcutters’ team, represented at the prizegiving by Tim Crowe, received a Trump International Golf Links, Doonbeg Fourball.

The CAE Parc Aviation team, comprising Michael Sillery, Gavin McPhillips, Alan Brigdale and Adam Moloney, in third place at the Shannon Chamber Golf Classic, received four overnight stays for two people at their choice of The Savoy Collection, Vaughan Lodge, or The Clayton Hotel. Nearest the pin honours at the Shannon Chamber Golf Classic went to Áine Twomey, playing on the Shannon Golf Club team. Mark Nolan, President, Shannon Chamber presented Áine with a €50 voucher for Meadows & Byrne and 1 month gym for the Hotel Woodstock Leisure Club.
