Tuesday 1st October 2019: Shannon Group’s tourist experiences and attractions company, Shannon Heritage has today announced a landmark partnership with the Coach Tourism and Transport Council (CTTC). The agreement sees Shannon Heritage become the first visitor attractions company in Ireland to be granted preferred supplier status by the CTTC.
Shannon Heritage is also working with CTTC to become a named coach friendly location joining Ennis, Sligo & Dungarvan in what is another first from Shannon Heritage. This will recognise Shannon Heritage visitor attractions as sites that demonstrate a high level of commitment to welcoming coaches and their passengers by adhering to the criteria set out by CTTC in the provision of quality Coach Parking Infrastructure.
CTTC are the sole representative body for coach tour operators in Ireland. Its members supply coaches to tour operators operating in Ireland, act as tour operators themselves and provides coaches for private and educational hire, which are all very important markets for Shannon Heritage.
