Part M Aviation Ireland Ltd (Part M) is an aircraft maintenance management company providing services to leasing companies, airlines and private owners. Established in 2010 and based in Shannon Part M’s primary function is as a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO).

The concept of an independent continuing airworthiness organisation is relatively new – traditionally this work was performed by the technical services unit of the airline with its approval vested in the airline’s overall Air Operator’s Certificate. The introduction of European Aviation Legislation by EASA, which mandated the management of the continuing airworthiness of aircraft, created an opportunity for an independent CAMO organisation for aircraft no longer on lease. Part M is a dynamic Irish company designed to meet these needs.

In any year, up to 10% of a lessor’s fleet may redeliver off lease, triggering an end-of-lease maintenance event. The airworthiness of the aircraft must be managed throughout this transition until the aircraft is either parked and stored, or delivered to the next operator. Throughout the entire transition phase Part M supports the aircraft lessor. We also provide expert on-site technical representation to clients worldwide.
