We are delighted to inform you that Shannon Chamber is taking part in the new Sustainable Water Towns Initiative.

In partnership with Irish Water, we are supporting local businesses with water conservation training and we would like to kick off the project by offering a ‘Water Conservation for Business Masterclass’ at our upcoming Chamber meeting.

In advance, we are encouraging our local businesses to take the Water Conservation Pledge – a clear demonstration of Shannon Chambers growing reputation and leadership on climate action and water stewardship.

Water Conservation Masterclasses

The masterclass will offer fantastic water conservation tips for local industry and outline how local businesses can avail of free online training and new green credentials.

DAA’s Utilities Infrastructure Manager, Mick Goodman will join us to tell us about his experience on the Water Stewardship Programme and the innovative water conservation projects he has put in place at Dublin Airport. Christine Crawford, Irish Water Business Marketing & Communications Manager

Christine is a Business Marketing and Communications Strategist who leads the Water Stewardship Programme for Irish Water – partnering with Irish Industry as joint custodians of our water supplies.

Prior to Irish Water, Christine worked for Enterprise Ireland and has spent over a decade developing marketing and communications strategies for leading brands such as the conservation organisation, WWF.

She is passionate about the environment and connecting with the hearts and minds of people with innovative sustainability campaigns.

Christine holds a masters degree in mass communication and broadcast journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.

This session is Free of Charge, but registrations is essential.
