Description

A major player in the aviation industry,

Ryanair’s route network is ever expanding.

With over 3,600 daily flights, serving over 250 airports in 37 countries, it is not surprising that 19.3 million passengers chose to travel Ryanair in June alone.

Renowned for its low-cost fare structure, Ryanair has made air travel accessible to a broader audience. It has been an innovator on many fronts, which continues today where it is leading by example through its company-wide decarbonisation programme.

Ryanair has operated from Shannon for over 36 years where it offers a choice of 90 weekly flights to 26 destinations, including Malaga, Faro, Lanzarote and Tenerife.

We are delighted that Ryanair’s CEO Eddie Wilson has accepted our offer to ‘touch down’ in Shannon to address our members and guests.

Eddie has made a huge contributions to Ryanair’s growth.

Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to hear directly about Ryanair’s growth story.

Our Guest Speaker

Eddie Wilson joined Ryanair in 1997, a then fledgling airline with just 20 aircraft that was unheard of outside of Ireland and had yet to transform European short-haul aviation and the lives and travel habits of hundreds of millions of Europeans.

His initial role was Head of HR, but given the fluid management of the company, he quickly got involved in airport deals, ground handling, inflight retail and the design and the launch of Ryanair.com. He was subsequently promoted to Director of Inflight Operations, retaining his HR brief but taking on the day-to-day management of a workforce of thousands of Inflight personnel along with a substantial retail programme.

He was appointed Chief People Officer in 2015 and was appointed CEO in 2019.

Eddie likes to travel and in his spare time enjoys sea swimming, sailing and mountain biking.
