Description
Shannon Chamber has set up a number of very successful forums to facilitate the exchange of ideas and best practice in specific business areas, notably:
- CEO Forum: provides a platform at senior management level to facilitate debate, discussion and decision making on issues affecting business at regional and national level.
- HR Forum brings senior HR professionals together to share best practice and thinking in HR and employment law and creates a network among HR executives in the Shannon region.
- Mid-West Lean Network is strengthening and increasing the existing culture of lean within the Shannon and the wider Mid-West region. Its aim is to enable each industry to broaden and strengthen their competitiveness through knowledge sharing and bench-marking against each other and different industries. This network now has in excess of 80 member companies and hosts monthly workshops.
Whilst these Forums have SME representation, we would, nevertheless, like to assess the benefits of setting up a dedicated SME Forum which would provide owners/managers with the space to link and network with their contemporaries who are facing the same challenges and who might benefit from working together as a grouping assisted by Shannon Chamber.
We invite representation from all SMEs in the greater Shannon area to attend this ābrainstormingā session, which will assess the benefits of and the advantages attaching to the establishment of an SME Forum.
This session will be facilitated by Ćine Barry of Irish Business Training Ltd (IBT), an experienced facilitator who has an innate ability to encourage productive brainstorming. It is an ideal opportunity to share your thoughts on how Shannon Chamber could assist you as an SME.
This session is Free of Charge. Advance booking is essential.
Registration from 8.30 am, Commencement at 9 am.
We will be running similar Brainstorming Session in August 2018 with representatives from retails sector.
