DATE: 13/10/2026

TIME: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm

VENUE: Shannon Chamber, Suite 14, Shannon Airport House, Shannon, Co Clare, V14E370

Have you ever considered taking on a board role, but weren’t sure where to start?

Join us for an open and practical conversation with Michelle Noone from the Public Appointments Service about the opportunities available to people interested in exploring board roles.

Whether you are actively considering a board appointment, curious about what is involved, or simply want to understand how these opportunities arise, this session will offer an insight into the process and what organisations look for in potential board members.

We’ll explore where opportunities can be found, how to think about the skills and experience you can bring, what the role of a board member involves, and some practical steps you can take if you decide you’d like to explore further.

Come with your questions and curiosity.

No previous board experience required.
