Description

Shannon Chamber in conjunction with Deloitte is delighted to offer you an employment tax and rewards briefing as we head towards the end of the current 2024 tax year.

We are pleased to be joined by experts from the Deloitte Limerick office who will provide an insight into a range of regulatory measures employers need to be aware of in terms of their employment tax compliance obligations, as well as their reward strategies, as they look towards the new year.

 Emer Hodges, Tax Director, will focus in particular on a number of topical employment tax areas including:

  • The newly implemented Enhanced Employer Reporting (ERR) obligations as many companies continue to grapple with these changes amid growing pressures on limited resources as well as the likelihood of increased Revenue scrutiny as a result of the new reporting;
  • How the Budget 2025 measures will interact with ERR once the Finance Bill has given them legislative effect.
  • The new guidelines published by Revenue in relation to the use of contractors.

Jennifer Powell, Assistant Manager in Deloitte’s Reward Services practice, will focus on hot topics in the marketplace and how they impact your total reward strategy, including:

  • Broader workforce total rewards trends including the alignment between incentive and performance and the key trends in employee value proposition (EVP).
  • Upcoming regulatory changes with a focus on pay transparency and the requirement to report across different regulations for Gender Pay Gap reporting.

While much of the session will be of interest to members of our HR Forum members, the topics should also be of interest to key stakeholders in all parts of the organisation from HR to Finance and payroll functions.

Registration and light refreshments from 8.30am.

Please book online to secure your place.
