DĂșchas na Sionna and the Shannon Archaeological & Historical Society cordially invites you to a Heritage Week event at Hastings Farmhouse, Shannon on Sunday 25th August at 2.00 p.m.
How a dwelling house would have been built in centuries gone by will be explained at the farmhouse which is located next to Shannon crematorium. The event is intended for all ages, and will also include traditional music, light refreshments and short local history talks. The event will also highlight the project to fully restore the farmhouse and the adjoining barn, as a community, cultural and historical amenity.
