Mid-West Lean Network Workshop: Problem Solving with Element Six (Limited to 30 Places)

DATE: 14/05/2026

TIME: 8:45 am - 11:45 am

VENUE: Element Six Ltd., Block I, Shannon Free Zone West, Shannon, Co. Clare

Mid-West Lean Network workshops are structured to explore how ‘Lean’ is enabling member companies to drive efficiency, productivity, and continuous improvement in their organisations.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn from an industry leaders and network with fellow Lean professionals.

Practical Problem Solving is a cornerstone of any successful Lean journey. It equips teams with a structured, data-driven approach to clearly define problems, identify true root causes, and implement sustainable countermeasures. Rather than addressing symptoms, this methodology drives lasting solutions and builds internal capability across the organisation.

Organisations that embed Practical Problem Solving into their daily operations consistently report measurable benefits, including the elimination of recurring issues, reduced costs, improved quality and performance, and a more engaged and empowered workforce. Over time, this approach becomes a key driver in sustaining improvements, reinforcing accountability, and standardising effective countermeasures across the business.

Practical Problem Solving is a core technique used daily within Element Six as part of their continuous improvement culture. In this interactive workshop, presenters from Element Six will:

  • Share the evolution of Practical Problem Solving within their plant and how it has matured over time
  • Outline the tangible business benefits achieved, including lessons learned — what has worked well and what challenges they encountered
  • Demonstrate Practical Problem Solving in action on the shop floor, providing real-world examples of how tools and techniques are applied in practice

This session will offer valuable insights for organisations at any stage of their Lean journey, whether you are building foundational problem-solving capability or looking to strengthen and sustain existing improvement initiatives
