Description

Hoshin Kanri Matrix is a tool used by companies to:

  • Create smart goals – targets to improve and long-term goals
  • Determine Strategies
  • Establish Metrics
  • Create action plans
  • Review Progress against Strategy

It is also know as policy deployment, X-matrix.

In Lean management, the goal of applying the X matrix is to align the long-term needs with strategic initiatives, identify the most important activities to priorities, and list the metrics that you need to improve.

This webinar will showcase how Cook Medical uses Continuous Improvement to learn from data, experience, and each other to constantly evolve and improve how they work.

In the session, members of their Continuous Improvement and Leadership teams will talk about the organisations CI journey and how they use the x-matrix to focus and deliver their business priorities, both locally and globally.

Cook Speakers:

  • Clare Cooke, Continuous Improvement Manager, Cook Ireland
  • David Keane, Director of Operations, Cook Ireland
  • Teresa Prendergast, Director of Quality Assurance, Cook Ireland

This session is Free of Charge, but registrations is essential.

The Mid-West Lean Network: the second largest regional lean network in Ireland, after Waterford Institute of Technology’s Lean Enterprise Excellence Group, launched in November, was set up to strengthen and increase the existing culture of lean within the Shannon and the wider Mid-West region. Its aim is to enable each industry to broaden and strengthen their competitiveness through knowledge sharing and bench-marking against each other and different industries.
