The SBCI is a Government-led initiative which aims to deliver lower cost, long-term, innovative and accessible funding to independent Irish SMEs. To date, 4,600 companies have received nearly €172m in SBCI loans. In addition, SBCI have just announced a new €75m finance facility through Ulster Bank.

The SBCI are keen to assess new products and new lending platforms for SMEs. Access to finance is a key issue for business and Shannon Chamber are keen to ensure that the views of the Clare business community are represented. We would like to know your views.

Eamon has spent twenty five years working at Board level in the Irish Marketing Communications business. He provides the strategic planning direction behind leading brands and their communications campaigns.

He works for a range of clients in Ireland and overseas including both brand owners and marketing communications agencies. During his advertising career, Eamon was responsible for Strategic Planning on many high profile public information campaigns.

His financial services experience is extensive and includes stints working on the Bank of Ireland, Aviva and Irish Life accounts and on Halifax BOS in the UK.
