Meet the Presenters

Éanna McGarrigle is a tax manager in Grant Thornton, having originally joined the firm in 2015. Éanna has dealt extensively with Revenue interventions and negotiations, while also having considerable experience in providing tax advice to multinational corporations and indigenous start ups alike, in a variety of sectors. During 2022, Éanna also supported a multinational group by managing their EMEA tax portfolio, giving him a unique viewpoint of the day to day needs of MNCs.

Éanna is a member of the Irish Taxation Institute (AITI) and also holds an honours degree in Law and Accounting from the University of Limerick.

Ray O’Halloran joined Grant Thornton in 2005 as a Manager, he had previously worked with Ptsb as a Senior Financial Consultant from 1994 -2004. He was appointed Director of Grant Thornton Financial Counseling, Limerick in 2008 and assembled a team of 4 experienced professionals over the last 13 years. Ray started with New Ireland in 1989 in the Limerick area, he has built up a wide range of experience with self-employed professionals in the medical and legal industry providing strategic personal financial planning with a primary focus on funding for retirement.
