Recent discussions with St Patrick’s Comprehensive School in Shannon pointed to a dearth of knowledge about the types of apprenticeships open to second-level students as a career option.
This 2-hour event, being organised by Shannon Chamber and hosted by St Patrick’s Comprehensive School in Shannon, will enable companies that run Apprenticeship programmes to outline their offering to secondary school students.
The event will comprise short presentations by companies on the types of programmes on offer and the current level of availability. Each company will have a stand at the event to facilitate one-to-one discussions with students.
