With over 15 years of experience leading global engineering teams, he has designed and implemented robust security architectures for connected vehicles. Javier has a proven track record of reducing security incidents, improving product quality, and driving compliance across safety-critical platforms. His expertise spans security architecture, cryptography, key management, secure software development lifecycle (SDLC), threat assessment, and penetration testing. Known for combining hands-on technical leadership with data-driven decision-making, he excels at translating complex cybersecurity requirements into practical, scalable solutions. Currently at Jaguar Land Rover, Javier leads a team of engineers delivering advanced cybersecurity capabilities across vehicle platforms, while also contributing to incident response and industry research initiatives. His career includes experience at Intel and extensive work in IT infrastructure and security consulting, giving him a broad and deep perspective on cybersecurity across domains. Javier has further strengthened his expertise by completing the Advanced Artificial Intelligence program with distinction at UCD Professional Academy, reinforcing his ability to integrate emerging AI capabilities into modern cybersecurity strategies.
