A Celebration of Irish Tradition and Culinary Innovation

CCSL, renowned for its workplace catering and heritage-focused hospitality, proudly announces the launch of The Corn Barn Restaurant, a new dining concept located within the historic Bunratty Castle & Folk Park.

The new food offering and restaurant at Bunratty Castle, The Corn Barn, is situated on the Castle grounds, offering visitors a delicious meal before or after exploring the village and castle. The menu is a fusion of traditional Irish dishes with a contemporary flair. A mix of sharing plates, hearty mains and a children’s menu, ready to satisfy after a day of exploring the park.

Randy Lewis, Food Innovation Manager at CCSL, is excited about the launch, “The Corn Barn is a celebration of collaboration – from our partnerships with local producers to the incredible team bringing these dishes to the table. We’re excited to welcome visitors and share a taste of what makes CCSL’s approach to food so unique.”

Standout dishes on the menu include Colcannon Croquettes — creamy mashed potato with kale, crisped to golden perfection — and the Bunratty Shank with Juniper Berries, a slow-simmered rustic stew. Guests can also enjoy Boxty Pancakes with Smoked Salmon, offering a twist on a beloved Irish classic, or opt for Burger Sliders with Black Pudding Aioli, a playful fusion of tradition and gourmet flair. The Cold Irish Seafood Platter features a fresh selection of smoked salmon, trout, prawns and shellfish. Seasonal sides such as spiced honey-glazed carrots or hand-cut chips are also available.

For families, the kids’ menu offers wholesome favourites like Chicken Goujons and Chips and Herb-Crusted Fish Fingers with Mini Tacos and Hot Dog Roll in Puff Pastry for the more adventurous eaters.

The Corn Barn is open daily from 9 am to 5:30 pm, located in Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, Bunratty East, Co. Clare V95 TY02. An admission ticket to the park is needed to dine at the Corn Barn.

Other dining options at Bunratty Castle by CCSL include The Earl’s Pantry, a Mediterranean-style cafe, and the Tea Rooms, where a more traditional menu can be sampled.
