 ive Officer of IDA Ireland\n\nPrior to this role\, Michael was a member of
  IDA’s Executive Leadership team with global responsibility for Life Sci
 ences (Biopharmaceutical and Medical Technologies) and as organisational l
 ead on Talent\, Transformation\, and Innovation agenda at IDA Ireland. Mic
 hael joined IDA Ireland in 2003 and has held various management positions 
 across multiple functions and has represented IDA in several fora includin
 g as a Board member on Digital Manufacturing Ireland\, a governance member
  on the SSPC research centre for pharmaceuticals and also The Irish Medica
 l Association (which is the business association within IBEC representing 
 the medical devices and diagnostics sector).\n\nPrior to joining IDA Irela
 nd\, Michael held several different positions including Manager for New Bu
 siness Solutions with Nortel’s European Operations in Galway and a manag
 ement role with IEC Electronics European Operations. Michael is an Enginee
 ring graduate with an MSc in Technology Management from the National Unive
 rsity of Ireland\, Galway and additionally is a graduate of the Berkley Ex
