DESCRIPTION:This event will comprise two presentations:\n\n 	From Root to R
 oof: Forestry’s Role in a Sustainable Future\n\nJoin us for an insightfu
 l event in collaboration with VEON\, Ireland’s leading forestry and ecol
 ogy consultancy\, as we explore the critical role of forestry and biodiver
 sity in a sustainable future. This session will address the pressing chall
 enges climate change poses to achieving national forestry goals\, while hi
 ghlighting the importance of sustainable timber for Ireland’s constructi
 on future. VEON will also delve into the vital role of ecological services
  and how every individual and business\, regardless of land ownership\, ca
 n make a difference in protecting biodiversity.\n\nThe event will feature 
 a compelling case study from a corporate partner\, Cook Medical\, in Limer
 ick\, showcasing real-world applications of corporate environmental respon

 an\, highlighting how the Council is empowering communities through fundin
 g opportunities to support local climate initiatives. Morgan will also sha
 re the steps the Council is taking on its own climate journey\, offering i
 nsights into the organisation’s commitment to sustainability and environ
