 tion experts from Deloitte’s Dublin office who will provide insights and
  strategies on employing non-EEA national talent in Ireland as a solution 
 for skills shortages\, together with key compliance issues.\n\nRoisin Fitz
 patrick\, Partner and Head of Deloitte’s Business Immigration practice a
 nd Kim Wong\, Director in Deloitte’s Business Immigration practice will 
 focus on essential business immigration issues including:\n\n 	Current cha
 llenges in the Irish and EU labour market with skills shortages in key are
 as and continuing demographic changes.\n 	An overview of Irish business im
 migration and how to successfully navigate and use it to recruit and maint
 ain top talent in your business.\n 	A recap on the Employment Permits Act\
 , 2024 introduced in September 2024 which consolidated employment permit l
 egislation.\n 	Other important changes in 2024\, including increased digit
 ization and the introduction of new processes.\n 	What further business im
 migration changes can be expected in 2025 and beyond and how can employers
  prepare themselves.\n 	Key compliance and risk issues for employers\, to 
 include right to work checks\, Workplace Relations Commission inspections

 itzpatrick is the Immigration Lead Partner for Deloitte Ireland’s Corpor
 ate Immigration Team. Róisín is a qualified solicitor in Ireland\, Engla
 nd &amp\; Wales within our Tax &amp\; Legal department. She has represente
 d a large selection of global firms\, including many Fortune 500 companies
 \, as well as smaller businesses and private clients in relation to their 
 ongoing immigration needs for their employees in Ireland. Róisín has als
 o advised on the establishment of their Irish operations from an immigrati
 on perspective.\n\n&nbsp\;Róisín has experience in advising multinationa
 l clients\, across all industries and sectors\, on the impact of corporate
  immigration in their future strategies and developed an insight into the 
 focus and management of immigration needs of clients when reviewing Irelan
 d as a business destination.\n\n&nbsp\;She has supported her clients acros
 s all industries – advising on immigration workforce planning\, immigrat
 ion technology and regulatory advisory. She has played a pivotal role in I
 rish immigration policy through strategic relationships developed over man
 y years. Her previous work in London in Irish corporate immigration during
  Brexit strengthened her policy and advisory experience. She delivers pro-
 active\, practical and technology focused immigration solutions when suppo
 rting her clients.&nbsp\; Róisín is also experienced in advising private
  clients on relocating to Ireland\, to include retirement and citizenship 
 applications.\n\n\n\nKim Wong is a Director at Deloitte Ireland LLP within
  Tax &amp\; Legal with over nine years of immigration program experience i
 n the Technology\, Media\, and Telecommunications (TMT) industries\, as we
 ll as the engineering sector. Kim specialises in overseeing complex projec
 ts and delivering exceptional client service\, managing a team of over 50 
 members across four countries.\n\nKim is a Canadian-qualified barrister an
 d solicitor\, having been called to the Ontario Bar in 2015. She holds an 
 Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from the University of Toronto a
 nd a law degree from the University of Windsor\, Faculty of Law. Before jo
 ining Deloitte\, Kim held significant roles at Canadian immigration law fi
 rms\, where she managed legal teams and streamlined office procedures.\n\n
 Kim's expertise includes leading client engagements\, developing and imple
 menting process efficiency initiatives\, and driving significant improveme
 nts in operational effectiveness and cost reduction. She is known for her 
 dedication to coaching and mentoring her team\, which has been instrumenta
 l in their professional growth.\n\nKim is also a very recent Irish citizen
  as of December 2024 and is thrilled to officially call Ireland home!\n\nW
