ULearning delivers expertise in the area of Supply Chain

ULearningĀ  part of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) at the University of Limerick is an innovative connector of industry and academia, addressing individual and corporate skills gaps through professional flexible learning.

As part of an annual Supply Chain Management on campus week, ULearning is offering a 2 day workshop in Business Process Management in the area of Supply Chain and SCOR (Supply-chain Operations Reference).Ā  This industry focused event on current supply chain trends will take place on Monday 5th and Tuesday the 6th of October in the MillStream, UL.

Using the vast experience of Mr. Michael Ginap, this course will provide an inā€depth understanding of a deā€facto standard and proven tool for supply chain efficiency. Participants experience the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCORĀ®) model’s framework, how to interpret it, and how to organize a typical supply chain project ā€œendā€toā€endā€.

In conjunction with this Continuing & Professional Education invites you to the ULearning Supply Chain Seminar: “Decision Making in Modern Manufacturing: Using Predictive Simulation Modelling in Decision Making” on Tuesday 6th October 2015 from 19:00 – 20:30.Ā  This talk will discuss the industrial context and the future trends around decision making in a manufacturing context, concluding with a demonstration of open source simulation software and an open discussion.

These events would be of interest to those working in the areas of Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics and Production.

Speakers will include Mr. Michael Ginap,Ā  Dr. Cathal Heavey and Mr. Georgios Dagkasis.
